Retro games: I've recently gotten back into Fallout3. It might have the best-balanced use of money I've ever found in a game. Underrated.

Film--Greatest war movie ever made: Pretty Village, Pretty Flame about the ethnic cleansing in the former Yugoslavia. Greatest American movie nobody ever saw: Homegrown (1998).
