Ricky Skaggs recorded this song; in fact, it was the title-track of his 1981 Epic Records LP. It was not released as a single but still a favorite of mine. I equally like Lionel Cartwright's rendition from his underrated 1991 released "Chasin' the Sun" CD on MCA Records. It was not a single for him either. The album peaked at #27 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and stayed on the chart for 18 weeks.
