and since when did we let tall children buy beer?
Oh, I know this one. We always did. Our Age ID check was "had money" and "capable of reaching the top of the bar to grab the pint".
This may just be a local West of Scotland custom though. 🏴
my mother would send me to the corner store to buy smokes at age 7 🤪
a few years ago I saw someone walk out of a gas station with a case of beer and I swear to god he looked 12. I mean he was tall and drove himself away but
Du meinst doch nicht etwa mich?
And worse, I've started to notice that some people my age are starting to be also be increasingly non-metabolising and have greatly increased levels of horizontality and general permanent inactivity.
@donni Also some people don't look like their age. Some people "look" 40 but you'll discover that they're actually 60, and there's also some that are relatively young, like 30 but look like in their 50's. Most likely because of work & stress or facial hair. People tell me I look 40 because of my facial hair, like whaat? No I don't. I'm 24 !
I was 18 years old 6 years ago. Another 6 years and I'm 30, and I already have some gray hairs. I still look brown from afar so yeah.
Right?
I know, right? 🤔
