Tomato seeds in on the windowsill. Orangeto, which we grew last year and which were fabulous, and a new one for us called Honeymoon. Orangeto seeds are tiny. At first I thought there were none in the packet. #gardening
Dug up an enormous fern which I loved but which went over the front path. This gave me the excitement of having a nearly empty 5 foot square, shadey bed to plant up. I am going for white and yellow to brighten a darkish area. I now need ideas for the other side of the path, upright but low and gets very little sun🤔 #gardening
Bees are busy on the celendine bringing in lots of yellow pollen. All 6 very busy in this apiary. Not going through them yet just hefting for stores and checking for busyness. This unseasonably warm spell has given them a boost. 4 apiaries checked and all 4 pleasingly active. #bees#honey#honeybees
