Without a doubt it would have to be Alpha Hatsuseno (初瀬野 アルファ) , the main character of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.
Bright, cheerful, optimistic, curious, and friendly. Even her romantic rival (not that she's aware of the fact) can't dislike her once they meet (although she tries).

B is tough. I'm going to toss up between Bilbo Baggins and Ben Grimm. Let's go with Bilbo.
Braver than he thinks, bolder than he knows, and smarter than anyone expects, he tricks Gollum, taunts a dragon (and lives), and ends a war by being an honest thief.
And he's a writer. What's not to like?

I'm going to pick the absolute hot mess that is Charley Cale from Poker Face.
Cursed/blessed with the ability to tell when someone deliberately tells a lie, and equally cursed/blessed with a motormouth that can't shut up when she hears one, she solves crimes and only rarely gets the police involved.
She is a complete disaster as a person, permanently broke, lives on beer and cigarettes out of her car, is massively uneducated, but intelligent, and surprisingly logical. And despite all that, still tries to be basically kind and helpful.

I'm going to go with Daav yos'Phelium from the #LiadenUniverse .
First-in Scout, Pilot of Clan Korval, 85th Delm of Korval, lifemate of Aelliana Caylon, father to Val Con yos'Phelium and Theo Waitley, and scholar. He is competent, loving, honest with his friends, and a force to be reckoned with.
If you have not encountered Lee and Miller's Liaden books, do hunt them down. They are a joy.

I could take the easy way out, and say Frank Columbo, but no.
For F I think I will pick one of my own characters. From the series of #ScoutAndShaman and #ShamanSpace Finder-of-Unnoticed-Details, or just 'Finder' is a telepath and partner to the space wrecked scout Lorn. A native of the world Mother-of-All, she is familiar with advanced biological sciences. She is confident, and self aware. She can also get a little insecure if she thinks Lorn is planning to leave.
Their descendant, Joyful Finder appears in #ShamanScout and #ShamanSpace .

It took a little thought for I. Ifurita from El Hazard, my own Iris and Indigo, Inara from Firefly. All possibilities. But my first pick I had to abandon, because I got the spelling wrong! Aydah Mensah from The Murderbot Diaries does not qualify for obvious reasons, once you write it down.
So.
Everyone's favourite swordmaster. Inigo Montoya. Scarred by Count Rugen at 11, he dedicates his life to improving his swordsmanship and hunting down the Six Fingered Man (the Count). And when he finds him, he will say "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." #ThePrincessBride

@rdm it's interesting that Katsulas was Tomalak on TNG before he was G'Kar but by the time he makes his final appearance as Tomalak in season 7's finale "All Good Things", he'd already been playing G'Kar on Babylon 5, and you can tell he's still in "G'Kar Mode" because he talks much more like G'Kar than Tomalak

Ah yes, Citizen G'Kar. And after all he went through, he *deserved* a vagabond retirement with Lyta, who isn't just a pretty face but has a brain that can at least keep up with him if not better... and knowing G'Kar, he'll happily be the one learning for a while!
