QSI + WGI in same year? Possible?

I am a GS 13 step 8 and there is a chance I will get a QSI for my work in 2025 (although given caps on QSIs, definitely not guaranteed). But I do have the option to select it. I am also due for a WGI in December of this year. Does this mean I could potentially become a step 9 next month with the QSI and a step 10 in December with the WGI, or does the WGI get cancelled or postponed if the QSI comes through?
