Question regarding VA pay scales

I know the local VA systems are supposed to do market surveys for varying positions yearly to stay somewhat competitive with salary. How do they determine where the local market rate falls on the pay scale? Do they average the local market salary with average years of experience and then apply that salary to where the average years of experience would fall on the pay scale?

MHBP Standard and GLP-1 Questions

Hi all. I’ve searched this group and gotten bits and pieces of answers, but I’m trying to get a succinct answer to my specific situation here (so I apologize if this seems repetitive) before I go talk to my doctor.I have MHBP Standard and am looking to get on a GLP-1 this year for weight loss. I have not been on a GLP-1 before. I have a few questions about the process:It seems like Wegovy is basically the preferred GLP-1 for MHBP coverage. Is that basically the only option for a weight loss GLP-1 with MHBP, unless something precludes me from using it instead of Zepbound?My BMI is >30, which I think I read in another thread would allow me to take Wegovy with insurance coverage. Is this correct, or would I still need a comorbidity to likely be authorized for Wegovy? I’d be using a CVS Pharmacy, which also seems preferred with MHBP. But there’s also CVS Caremark, whatever that is? I am also VERY confused about the cost of Wegovy with MHBP because it sounds like it completely varies by dosage and by getting a 1-month versus 3-month supply. But also maybe there’s a coupon from Novo? And also it may differ if you get it via Caremark versus in-person at CVS? Someone please help here lol. I’d obviously be looking at getting the starting dosage (no clue about 1- or 3-month supply, not sure how that is determined) and am fine with either getting it via Caremark or at CVS itself.

Question about VERA and FERS supplement?

When you retire on VERA, does the FERS supplement start when you are eligible for regular retirement? For example if I accept VERA at 50, but am not eligible for regular retirement until 57, will FERS supplement start at 57? Thanks.

Requirements for a performance improvement plan

My boss gave me a performance improvement plan this past Friday. This does not seem like a valid performance improvement plan for a number of reasons. I am going to file another ORM complaint against him tomorrow (Monday) for retaliation, harassment and hostile work environment. I already have one ORM complaint and am waiting for an investigator to be assigned for the formal investigation. My question is where do I get the requirements that are needed for a performance improvement plan? I am asking because I am planning on contacting HR who apparently approved it and then my congressman to see if an investigation can be done on why HR is apparently approving performance improvement plans that do not follow the guidelines. I was planning on going through this plan and detailing why each instance is not within the regulations for my congressman and also sending it to HR. I have found handbook 5013 but can’t seem to find the specific requirements such as who need to approve it, how it is supposed to be formatted, etc
