This is so hilariously on the nose, wow.

@davey_cakes @spayeur @Infrogmation
I laughed at the bootleg DVD. Good job, Lady Liberty.
ok so *there's* one of those "pictures worth a thousand words".
what was the reason of the police?
Good question! The wireservice photos where I found it didn't give reason of arrest. I don't know who the woman is nor what the charges or allegations against her were.
A quick search found this:
KABC Los Angeles -- Tens of thousands of people rallied and marched peacefully through Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday before tensions escalated later in the night, leading to arrests and minor injuries, according to police.
@Infrogmation
This article contains another image of her...doesn't give specific reason for her arrest but does say they made arrests for "Failure to Disperse."

Another LA Times story with another photo of Lady Liberty under arrest.
"Dozens arrested after authorities fire tear gas at ‘No Kings’ protesters"

More than 70 protesters were arrested Saturday evening after authorities shot tear gas and pepper balls into the crowd, leaving at least one teen with an eye wound and others with skin burns, according to demonstrators and police.
For anyone who can't access that one, an archive copy:
In this AP Photo she's handcuffed and looking into the face of one police officer, and another police officer next to her is holding her flame, loudspeaker, and manacles.

@Infrogmation Well the original statue was already "on the nose": "liberty" for a country built on slavery and genocide.
But cute close second...
Cue the signature sound from an old (old!) cop show on tv:
Dumm! De-Dumm! Dumm! Dumb!
How to give your opposition a big boost.
And she's grateful, I think.
@Infrogmation talk about symbolism
- men control what women are allowed to do
- police control what citizens are allowed to do
- the state restricts (individual) liberty
all that in one photo!
Optics, baby. That chick's got you and she knows it
Looks to me
like an AI image
@c_th1 @Infrogmation There are 3 others with the same woman and cops.The face and tattoos and clothing match.
Here's 1 https://www.latimes.com/california/live/no-kings-protests-live-updates-southern-california

Diese Arschlöcher 😡😡😡
Why? Was she telling the truth?
@xs4me2 @Infrogmation @Guillemmartnez
She's also in this video, from 1.41 min.

@touaregtweet @xs4me2 @Guillemmartnez
Ah. Lady Liberty told the cops on the other side of the fence that they were political pawns and 'nobody is scared of you'. Yep, that's most likely why they arrested her.
@Infrogmation @touaregtweet @Guillemmartnez
She did, and she was right...
This is only inches away from a real insurrection by the people... they should remove Trump from the White House in fact. Tarred and feathered and carry him on a beam!
and zip ties .......... sigh.
(thick snark): maybe if she did not want to get arrested, she shouldn't have been dressed so provocatively.
(meant as a THICK bit of sarcasm that any woman who filed charges against a man for rape will understand, from what I hear.)
