So, the US government does not like to adhere to contracts. Switzerland signed extensive contracts with the US to buy 36 F-35 and various other systems for air defense in 2022. Back then, the US government assured that this is a fixed price and there will be no price increases or additional hidden cost.

Now the US government wants 1.35 billion or 25% more.

So much for binding contracts.
So much for the trustworthiness of the US.
