@metin I barely ever used Windows in my life and even I know that Windows Vista predated Windows 7. Kinda makes me question whether I can trust any other facts in the article :-/

Good point. I guess it's a confusion with Windows 8 which is not mentioned at all in the article and would perfectly fit on the release timeline. And AFAIR introduced the tiling.
