So today hundreds of conservatives from the other side of the state descended on Seattle led by disgraced WA Republican politician, domestic terrorist, and right wing extremist Matt Shea.
He failed at violently overthrowing WA state and for some reason is still allowed outside of jail cell.
He now leads a brand of hate targeting trans people and leads events where KKK members and neo-Nazis would be at home.
It took all the cops SPD could muster to enable the right wing terrorist led event to go on uninterrupted.
Seattle cops arrested 18 to 30 people who were protesting the anti trans event.
The arrests were extremely violent and at least one person was sent to the hospital. I'm getting reports of things like a bike cop headbutting a woman then macing her after she was down and possibly already handcuffed.
Significant police use of force.

The Office of Police Accountability (OPA) is an independent office within the Seattle Police Department (SPD) which investigates complaints of police misconduct made by members of the community and complaints made internally by members of the Seattle Police Department.
Accounts from activist OTG indicate that things were tense most of the day.
Trans activist held a counter event on the opposite side of Cal Anderson park with live punk bands and scenes of trans joy, the very thing the fash hoped to erase.
Meanwhile black bloc protesters disrupted the right wing event. OTG reports indicate the cops began pouncing on black bloc activist as soon as they approached the hate event. Seemingly for no reason mass arrests began taking place.
As the initial mass arrests started, apparently for getting too close to the fash event, police took on an increasingly aggressive and agitated stance attempting to keep counter protesters out.

The cops struggled to keep the dueling protests separated.
From accounts on the ground the vibes were certifiably stonewall.
According to activist with DivestSPD the cops began to provoke the counter protesters by randomly patrolling into the counter protest crowd.
Despite all the cops, beatings, pepper spray and arrests trans activist continued to get into the fascist event to hold pro-trans signs. They loudly booed the fascist speakers as they attempted to speak.
SPD struggled to keep up, the trans people kept getting in.
The cop tactics of separating the crowds were largely unsuccessful. Causing cops to eventually form additional police lines inside of the hate event to prevent counter protesters from getting close enough to crash the stage.
Tensions were very high and SPD called for backup from additional police agencies to help flood the park in cops.
SPD evidently felt they might potentially loose control of the situation, not like they ever had it under control, and ordered the fascists to end their event early bc they literally couldn't protect them for longer.
So today, Seattle fought like hell and wrecked the fascist's plans, allegedly. Had the cops not been there the fascists wouldn't have even stood a chance holding an event here!

Today's state sponsored hate fest would NOT have been possible if not for the city of Seattle crushing Black led Mutual Aid projects first.
The BLM Memorial Garden and the near daily breakfast program and weekly free grocery events were brutally crushed just like the Black Panther programs which inspired us.
We knew when the city took our garden they had no idea how to better use that space.

Tomorrow is the five year anniversery of the start of the George Floyd protests in Seattle.

Overnight the far right church leaders who led the fascist riot in Seattle yesterday vowed a night march starting from their church in U District tonight.
These guys typically march the one block around their church then call it quits. The issue tho is AFTER these events riled up fascists sometimes look for gay people to harass.

This same church, Pursuit NW, last year led a march of zionist complete with flownin recent IDF soldiers and assailants from the 2024 UCLA zionist riot. They publicly described their event as a "buzzsaw" intended to destroy UW student #Gaza camp.
At the time UW, much like the city of Seattle yesterday, gave the fash event formal blessing and scolded the students to disband to avoid conflict with imported IDF soldiers.
We have an urgent request for court watch support tomorrow, 1pm, for the so far 10 leftist activist facing felony charges for protesting these hate preachers.
It is absolutely critical that we pack these hearings!
If you want to have an impact but don't want to face the risk of arrests or police injuring you THIS is the activism for you!
It's highly effective and literally all you have to do is watch and possibly take notes.
For tomorrow's court watch please be aware the court room itself is fairly small so we hopefully will fill it and spill over into the halls.
So if you get there late please be aware that you may have to stand/sit in the halls and that the judges are made aware of how many people there are.

It's standing room only at the security check point. Direct friends and family are being given priority. No one else is being let in.
Some people who made it in but were listening from the hall (which is typically allowed) were escorted out.
There's around 50 ppl waiting to get in. We've only seen a few ppl let in.
The cops have stopped letting people in. They say they don't have the overflow spaces available and that they are not going to make any more accommodations such as zoom or rooms with a video stream.
Traditional journalist were of course let and are recording the situation at the security checkpoint.
The crowd has swelled to 100+
Update - No charges have been filed by the Seattle City Attorney yet and they were not ready today.
The city must file charges (or drop the cases) by tomorrow evening.
The judge says they will possibly set bail today or release people on "personal recognizance".
The judge should begin bringing in our comrades in as we speak.

I continue to watch some journalists be allowed in specifically while other independent outlets are denied.
I and many others saw them deny Seattle Gay News entry and literally minutes later wave King 5 and Fox13 right on in without checking any press badges.
It appears the size of the camera and the stature of the reporter is what they are checking.
I've returned with a press pass.
The cops seem not to recognize it, I mean I know cops can't fly but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt on reading skills.

Major update, we're hearing two people has already had their cases dropped, the city attorney refused to take those two case and they will be released soon.

Update - another two conrades were released without bail but may still be charged. The city attempted to set a $10k bail for one of them but thankfully the judge denied.
So we have four comrades coming home later tonight and we're still waiting on word on up to six.
More mostly good news, we're now at 7 total who will be released without bail. 5 of those will likely still faces charges.
However an 8th person had initial bail set at $100k, it's been reduced to $20k after a ba k and forth between their defense and the judge. (Update, bail is being posted as we toot, will be out tonight or tomorrow)
I believe existing bail funds should be able to handle it but will update as we learn more.
One of the people who was released without bail the city tried really hard to keep them in jail because they allegedly broke a cops finger.
Speaking to people who were on the ground at the time its seems this person was punched in the head by an SPD officer, which is how the cop's finger was broken 🫠
So obviously we think a lot of the people who will be back in court will handily beat the charges.

Really sounding like the city doesn't have much of a case if they can even get bail placed on more than one person.

In echo's of Mayor Jenny Durkan, Harrell is obviously no supporter of leftists activitist and is naturally inclined to crack down on local activist. Much like Durkan, I expect Bruce to attempt to crack down on us more than even Trump desires to keep the right wing happy
