Apologies for the error, this is a liberal led protest of PursuitNW Church.
That being said my take remains the same, for the love of god don't go protest a church that the FBI is looking for an excuse to protect.
This is a potentially unwise protest that will lead to arrest and injury for little to no gain.
Its not likely to produce the optics the libs wish, the media will spin it as always.
Huge update on the 10 felony charges stemming from the Saturday combination hate rally/cop riot, all 10 LGBTQIA counter protesters have had the state/county decline to file charges as of yesterday.
They are not fully out of the woods yet because the cases are not yet dismissed. I think there could be up to a 3mo window before dismissal.

The same fascists who brought their church of hate to Cal Anderson over the weekend are expected to have a small protest / press conference on the steps of city hall tonight to rail against Seattle's Bruce Harrell for not beating the gayborhood enough on saturday.
They also already have secured a permit for an upcoming repeat event at the exact same park in later this year in August.
While I was at court watch yesterday I spoke to people who were witnesses to the arrest of this man below.
His only crime was walking through Cal Anderson on his way to a hair cut. Multiple people at court watch witnessed him get randomly tackled so hard he had to eventually be taken to the hospital.
This type of "wrong place, wrong time" police beat down is EXACTLY what made 2020 protests grow.

This same church, Pursuit NW, last year led a march of zionist complete with flownin recent IDF soldiers and assailants from the 2024 UCLA zionist riot. They publicly described their event as a "buzzsaw" intended to destroy UW student #Gaza camp.

Overnight the far right church leaders who led the fascist riot in Seattle yesterday vowed a night march starting from their church in U District tonight.
These guys typically march the one block around their church then call it quits. The issue tho is AFTER these events riled up fascists sometimes look for gay people to harass.
Most of their last minute events are a snoozefest, so likely to fizzle tonight imo.
