"She may have registered fake assistant jobs to steal EUR 4,800,000 from the EU via fictional salaries, but I agree with her politically, so just like Donald Trump she must not be held accountable!"
command me my master
@randahl It is some kind of logic… yes….
@randahl she basically did what he is still working on 🤷
@randahl “Come on! Stealing €4.8M from the government is nothing! Her only fault is that she didn’t do it through a company of her own!”

@randahl

…and this pos is selling to the maga numpties, that he’s fighting corruption. That’s rich. 🤣

@randahl

I am with Musk suggestion and afterwards, she should be locked up in a cybertruck.

What could possibly go wrong?

@randahl The simple answer to Elon Musk's plea here would be to lock him up as well. With a smartphone so he can tell us via X that he intended to be thrown in prison all along. And that he and Marine are the free ones, while the rest of us are actually in prison.
@fgbjr @randahl JD Vance already called for bring "freedom of speech" to Europe.
@yacc143 @randahl He can speak all he wants. I just think he should be in prison. For all we know he might be happier there. He certainly seems to be pretty miserable where he is now.
@yacc143 @fgbjr @randahl While, ironically, suppressing freedom of speech in the US despite it being a constitutional right!
@pa27 @yacc143 @randahl Of course. The fake hillbilly lies like he breathes. Plus he's a fascist, but that's just bonus points in burn-in-hell bingo.
@randahl I am currently in a discussion with a friend how long it will be until we will see calls to "bring democracy to France" by the american government... at the moment nothing seems to crazy to be off the table...

EU may “make an example of X” by issuing $1 billion fine to Musk’s social network

Regulators discuss size of penalty as X calls punishment “political censorship.”…

@oliver_schafeld

Yes please. Do it while he is still a billionaire 😎

@FrancoisPrague @oliver_schafeld
Bet he's only a billionaire because he's been dodging debts, playing clever accounting, and cutting corners at human cost for decades. However I do hope someone tries to get blood out of that stone.

Edit: you know, besides that whole familial sketchy wealth BS

Looking at Tesla's 10% drop last Friday — rephrasing: "Do it while the stock is still up (and can serve as his collateral)."
@oliver_schafeld Still a long way to go. If I remember correctly it needs to drop below 144 before Musk’s loans get called in.
@oliver_schafeld Good plan, except that's loose change. Make it a real fine.
@oliver_schafeld Nazis should be censored, jailed and rehabilitated. The leaders should be treated as they would have treated others.
@randahl "I stole much much more than this and I didn't see any consequences!"

@randahl

the KKKetamine at it again

@randahl DOGE = Department of Government Embezzlement
@randahl
Difficult to 'free' her when she's not actually locked up.
Two years suspended sentence.
Plus two years with a tag.
Barred from standing in elections for five.
@sticklandtim @randahl
She was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment + 2 years suspended. But she won't go to prison until after appeal which won't be heard until next year
@Sarahw @sticklandtim @randahl I think it's actually 2 years house arrest ie. tagged, rather than prison.
@randahl The chief of Doge defending an embezzler of public money. It all adds up!

@randahl

Just like #tesla faking 8k car sales to another of its canadian divisions to pretend they sold the cars, to get a federal government rebate, in the waning days of its program.

Smells 🐠🐟

#cdnpoli #canada #mexico #fascism #antifa #elbowsup

#broligarchs are filth.

25% wealth tax/year, dropping to 5% when they're down to $78m, because we should NOT do this to them:

@Maxfieldripken

I've seen you post this wealth tax suggestion a number of times. Pardon my ignorance, but where does the $78M figure come from? It's specific, non-round, and a bit mystifying...

@cazabon

Yeah it's super arbitrary but well-founded.

I was chatting with friends one day. Later that night when I got home, I math'd the number.

Take a billionaire, allow them and their family to have two mansions in the world, a modest staff of three to six people in each home, & capacity to do the 1% fuckery that they like to do.

I made some modest estimations, assuming a fine return on invested money, they should be able to live a good life at $78m. That's it. But still 5% wealth tax.

@Maxfieldripken

Aha, thanks for the explanation.

Even if someone wanted to quibble with the specific numbers, I still wouldn't feel bad if they had to make do with only a couple of servants at one of their mansions... 😉

@cazabon

And yes please, let's all quibble.

Arbitrary numbers.

Others say, take all but their last billion. I see the merits of that. But I like $78m notionally.

Others have shit on $78m and say $1m.

The discussion is way more important than my math!

#cdnpoli #canada #mexico #fascism #antifa #elbowsup #billionaires #oligarchy #broligarchy

@Maxfieldripken @randahl

We cannot and we won't.... But if we took 95% off the wealthiest 1%

They would still be the wealthiest 1%

@randahl only logical for a sick mind
@randahl OMG, Do you really know who these people are, do you know her father and how much racist he was ? I remember when I was a child he was considered as a Nazi. It tells a lot about their friends too.
@visnudeva @randahl it is as if the world hasnt figured out it is a concentrated network of fascists making a grab for power that should be treated as an enemy state.
@Kzad_Bhat @randahl exactly, it is pure madness all around.
@randahl not even 5 Million pshaw... that doesnt compare to the TRILLIONS IN GRIFT #PRESIDENTMUSK and #Agentkrasnov are sucking up
@randahl Elon Musk is wrong, very wrong. Ending as a mediocre propagandist. A mere nitwit. Stop wasting time and energy on him.
@randahl xd
maybe musk should hire her? if he loves her sooo much
let's send her to usa 🙃

@randahl Cough, isn't Le Pen free? Pending the appeal process that can take years if not decades? And actually if the verdict stands, she's sentenced to house arrest?

Or did I miss some news and our beloved French speaking Nazi (and SS men disliking!) suddenly was kidnapped by aliens?

@randahl Another tantrum. Why are all these guys such thin skinned, needy idiots?

@randahl well this is the guy whose company, Tesla's dealerships seems to have tried to pull a similar heist on Canadian Government EV sales rebates.

https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/canada-freezes-rebate-payments-tesla-bans-it-future-rebate-programs-due-tariffs-2025-03-25/

@randahl
Ja, ja, ein bisschen öffentliches Geld für eigene Zwecke verwenden, ein bisschen Gesetze übertreten, das macht doch nichts. So denkt er, der Herr Musk.
@randahl And, rather fittingly, the man's avatar is now the representation of a blackhole.
@randahl as far as I am aware they didn't lock her up, just on a tag, something that would have only happened to the elites & privileged, everyone else would have been actually locked up...
@randahl A better thing would be to jail musk, nationalize starlink and SpaceX. What to do with xitter?
@randahl
If you understand French, this is a really good commentary, not only on Le Pen's conviction/sentence, but also on the various reactions and the broader picture. Besancenot is utterly lucid and calm, and, for once, the interviewer seems interested in teasing out the max analysis and not in overriding her guest's thoughts. OB is one of the spokesfolks from what would be called the fringe left (Nouveau Parti Anti-Capitaliste) who regularly perceives and elucidates where we need to go and is mostly pretty roundly ignored when he isn't being shouted down.
