23andMe collected more than just genetic data.

85% of customers consented to research, providing billions of additional personal data points on health, habits, and personal traits.

And now that the company is going bankrupt, a judge ruled that it's allowed to sell that consumer data. https://buff.ly/XbhcwE8

23andMe is potentially selling more than just genetic data – the personal survey info it collected is just as much a privacy problem

If you were a 23andMe customer, your genetic and personal information could be used in civil or criminal cases, targeted advertising, medical discrimination and so much more.

I have obtained TSA pre-check with my correct gender marker on my passport!

The Clear employee who helped me was very nice, I got some queer / trans / non-binary vibes from them.

I got my passport before the anti-trans U.S. executive order. I knew the guidance from TSA is that my passport is valid until it expires, but I wasn't sure whether they would allow me to get TSA pre-check with it.

I hope this helps other trans folks. Please boost!

"She may have registered fake assistant jobs to steal EUR 4,800,000 from the EU via fictional salaries, but I agree with her politically, so just like Donald Trump she must not be held accountable!"
Fixed it for you, NY Times.
Amen. Trump has broken every norm. It is time for the good guys to break some norms and speak out. This is an emergency for the office they held and the nation they led.
What will it take for a former president to speak out against Trump?

From the Century, March 1896: an apt description of large language models from William James, I think:
My quinquennial (that is, routine) colonoscopy tomorrow. Hungry now. Starving soon. Dreading tonight. Tomorrow, you will no longer, at least temporarily, be able to say I'm full of shit.

Scoff if you must — but it should be clear now that the hippies (including me) were right about everything.

Literally what is the point of having a billion dollars if it doesn't buy you the freedom to behave with self-respect? Seriously, what do you even get?
