Well I've started something silly, there was no alcohol involved when I came up with it. I should be worried, shouldn't I? Anyway I've decided to run 1000 miles this year. Bit of a moon shot from someone who hasn't run before mid January this year.

A Parkrun distance today and now I got 967 miles to go. Which means I've got to do 311 more to hit the target which only leaves me one day of rest. Need more miles ...
WOW I passed 100 km today, who would have thought that I would stick to it for so long and "enjoy" it enough to keep at it. Next step is to run longer each time, else I'll never reach the target.
Went out for a 5k+ Run, Walk, Sniff with this mutt. Jolly good fun and she did so well, though one have to be ready to stop dead, when there's something that scared her or smelled gooooood.

I finally got the runners high, started at 1640m and finished at 1890m, 9.71km, 715m up according to Garmin. Couldn't go further as I hit the snow ;)

Penny did a PB on her 5k and even had time to look at cows without being scared. I on the other hand managed to lower the daily needed milage per day to reach my target by 0.01 miles

On this #GlobalRunningDay I went out and did a triathlon, clearly my head needs a reboot. 750m in a saltwater pool, nice. 15km bike ride to get baked goods. 6km Run'n'Sniff with the mutt.

Today she did her stiles in style. Wooden ones she needed a lift up and then jumped down right away. The stones stiles, she did without much help, as soon as she found out it was just "steps" she was through them like a flash, therefore no picture.

I've had 3 pairs of Saguaro shoes, love them - light, flexible and comfy. I often forget I got them on.
The first two pairs lasted about 1.5-2 years, of daily use, 5+ km dog walking, shopping, hiking etc in all weathers, before they wore out. One pair is still in use as wild swimming shoes.
Sadly the newest pair started to show wear within a month of use. Fabric coming apart from the sole and even ripping and the stitching is coming out.
Which is a bit annoying since the newest pair was more expensive.
