Massive day today, the first lap sleep by Miss MoneyPenny, our rescue Podenco. We found her living feral in a Spanish forest 6 months ago. She's been worried, scared and anxious and slowly started to trust people and was especially scared of hands at first. Tonight she was looking at me, clearly wanted more than a hand giving her belly rubs. A little guiding lift and she jumped over to my belly from her seat, but sat and looked confused while falling asleep from my gentle voice and strokes. And then she flopped and I've not moved for 30min.
