MariannePlease remember, dog people, when it's breeding season (Spring/Summer), there are nesting birds and other wildlife hidden away in the grass, under rocks, behind trees etc.
Letting your dog run off-lead through meadows etc is highly disruptive to breeding animals and can kill them. You might not see or realise.
Please leash/lead your dog in open and wild spaces. Run with them, stay on trails and pathways as much as possible

Bob Tregilus@andrewbriscoe Well that is certainly annoying too. Moving rocks around is not good for the creatures and plants that make their homes under them. Also, rock cairns that are not explicitly marking a trail really drive me nuts. It's the same as trail side dog poop bags in my world. Why can't people just #LeaveNoTrace and #VisitWithRespect when out in nature?
