What mods / plugins do you consider essential, both server side and client side?

@SleepyCatten since i'm a Massive nerd i usually do more technical focused projects in minecraft, my client side modlist usually consists of fabulously optimized (modpack of a bunch of perfomance mods), carpet mod, tweakeroo, litematica, minihud, worldedit (for mapping out bigger projects in creative), and EMI (recipe viewer)

@beatrix We recognise a number of those (Carpet, Litematica, MiniHUD, and WorldEdit)

We also put all the performance mods on both servers and clients.

@SleepyCatten :D

if you end up running any servers larger than just having a few friends online, things like coreprotect (for spigot, not sure what the fabric/forge equivalent is) to log player behavior and roll back griefing is also a must have IMO

@beatrix nods

No risk of us running any large servers like that, but if we can get a modded QuiltMC 1.21 server running sometime soon (just from a local mini PC, not online hosted), we'll add something like this to rollback areas if needed for any reason
