@maxim I'm Kagan MacTane, a front-end web developer from Brooklyn and San Francisco. I've got strong skills in #HTML and #JavaScript, am trying to brush up my #CSS, and I'm also trying to wean myself off of #ReactJS and find a better front-end framework.

#Accessibility and #UX are very important to me. I like making things that users enjoy. I also like maps and location-aware stuff.

Howdy Kagan! I don’t usually do this, but if you’re trying to detox from React with another front-end library, I’d highly recommend #HTMX https://htmx.org. It is weird and different in the beginning because it turns everything you know from react (or in my case, Angular) on its head. Once you figure it out, though, it is like coding with superpowers. @kagan @maxim
</> htmx - high power tools for html

htmx gives you access to AJAX, CSS Transitions, WebSockets and Server Sent Events directly in HTML, using attributes, so you can build modern user interfaces with the simplicity and power of hypertext htmx is small (~14k min.gz’d), dependency-free, extendable, IE11 compatible & has reduced code base sizes by 67% when compared with react

@benpate Thanks for the suggestion. I've seen some stuff about it lately and been intrigued; it's definitely on my list to investigate when I get the time (along with Vue and Svelte, and maybe Solid). @maxim
