Only MOA's (Mastodon Owners Association).
@SwiftOnSecurity Twitter meanwhile is for the people who don't want the government telling them what to do, but enthusiastically move to the company town owned by Elon Musk.
Hey, at least the HOA is an improvement? Maybe?
@ids1024 @SwiftOnSecurity exactly, "HOA" has a bad rap compared to "self-governing independent commune that takes care of its members against a persistent Nazi threat"
I guess the major difference is whether we're telling Tay she needs to put a fence around her garbage can, or to stop hanging out with people who have red arm bands. Unfortunately in between is stuff like "never CWs upsetting stuff"
@SwiftOnSecurity On corporate social media, I have never had any success with reporting even the most outrageous racist, homophobic, or transphobic posts for moderation.
On Mastodon, I have never yet seen such a report fail to bring a response.
I’m good with that, frankly.
@mttaggart @jerry @SwiftOnSecurity
Probably because it went to #P92 from here but we got blocked, by default, for seeing their replys. 😂
ahhh, yes? That's the ticket??
@SwiftOnSecurity that is a bit of a cheap dig, not everyone here is like that!😀 but i have to admit i have to tune out the meta and ethics discussion about the platform, i don't have the energy for that, forgive me for just trying to have some fun online while i can
and with all the "1000 tips to be a better citizen" posts i feel so self-conscious about what i post here, so i end up posting even less than on twitter
