The top dog in a race among the six iconic Wienermobiles from Oscar Mayer proved to be the one representing the Southeast. The hot dog-on-wheels known as Slaw Dog passed the Wienermobile representing Chicago at the finish line to win the inaugural Wienie 500 on Carb Day, the final day of practice ahead of Sunday's running of the Indianapolis 500. It was one of the rare times in which all six Wienermobiles in the Oscar Mayer fleet were in one place at one time.
New York Times op-ed on the new #stablecoin law (the "GENIUS Act") by Dan Davies, the author of probably the best book about financial fraud you'll ever read ("Lying For Money"), hits a lot of the right notes.

FACT: The more people choosing to walk, bike & take public transit to get around cities, the better cities work for EVERYONE, including DRIVERS.
Anyone claiming that less car dependency is a “war on cars” doesn’t understand how cities (or geometry) work.
