FYI, I am still here, but Bluesky does seem to have gripped more of my recent attention.

I do still believe both is better than either one individually. I tried a bridge, bridge doesn't give me the back and forth I would seek out of it. Bridging looks to have gotten a rep of nonengagement, 'I'm not actually here but you should look at me anyway don't bother replying'.

Oh, yeah, yeah, the Swifties have organized an exodus to Bluesky. That's game over.

Usually after elections end, people are expected to get their lawn signs off the yard as quickly as possible, win or lose. You have about a week before you're considered an asshole.

Two days later in my neighborhood, all the Harris signs are gone.

Almost none of the Trump signs are gone; one has even been given an addition to read 'PACK YOUR BAGS'.

Eight years ago, I remember a lot of people going 'don't you dare flee to Canada, stay and fight, resist'. Including a lot of Canadians.

I don't see that this time. I've seen like one person say that. This time I just see people talking about preparing homes wherever it is they live for the people who run and going 'this country might be better for you than that one'.

I laid my head down in bed for three hours, my eyes never even really closed.

i'm turning it off. we're done here.

just try and help who you can how you can for as long as you can.

it didn't matter what she said, or what she did, or what she believed or fought for, and it would never have mattered who was sent to run the race.

people just.... they just *wanted* him

how do you counter it when they just *want* that
