This is a relatively new diagnostic category; I wish it had been arrived at sooner, that maybe I could have been spared six decades of misery.

myrmepropagandistSome people are socially gifted I think. Or at least that's how it seems. They remember names, they know how to make kind gestures and not come on too strong or distant.
People worry a lot about romances but friendships are just as complex and if you "need help" making friends there's a notion that you are a bumbler.
That said my best friend who is still a best friend to this day came up to me when we were both in 2nd grade and said "Let's be best friends"
I said "no"
But then we ended up playing some game where the little forest in back of the school had space fairy portals and the rest is history.
