Hi there!

You'll get a little bit of everything me here, from EE, science, maths, & web dev, to daily life musings & commiserations to IRL kink to horny character & worldbuilding ideas.

I'm an abyssal rubber goo thing whose identity is subject to change on Observation, but my most probable eigenstate is a fingendered dragon girl toy. Get handsy with me. I'm tactile. <3

I can't promise infallible use of CW's here. #ADHD #ActuallyAutistic

Pronounsshe/it/whatever, in that order
Nounstoy, occasionally drone, inmate, prisoner
AdjectivesAce (but kinky), nonbinary, genderfluid (quantum), often fingendered

Finding out that guitar technology has reached a level where it doesn't really matter what electric guitar/bass you buy when starting out has been a bit of an eye-opener; that even the cheap ones for sale at gear4music/Argos/etc are more than 90% par with more expensive instruments, is pretty awesome and also a relief that I don't need to worry about brands for my first bass.

Class 99s were built in 2025, Class 66s were built from 1998 to 2008, and the Class 57s were originally built between 1964 and 1967 (originally as Class 47s)

Experiment time πŸ§ͺ! Testing things that stain white latex. Copper, brass, plants, coins, and more! Chekc back in a few weeks for results!

So I just now learned that putting the 10-key pad on the left side of the keeb has a name: Southpaw.

...... Except that all of the "southpaw" keyboards that seem to exist are fucking compact layout outside of the 10-key pad and I DO NOT LIKE COMPACT LAYOUT

Am I seriously going to have to design my own fricking keyboard just to fill a niche in the market for myself? >:(

Good gods, at this point I really should try to get in on the custom mechanical keeb game as a designer/manufacturer.

My ADHD brain has been pretty severely flitting between ongoing projects as of late.

I've been back on my thinky bullshit about the Horologium Keplerus, and just today I spent some thought cycles each on the Better Bedside Clock and Modular Breadboard System.

I still haven't been able to get KiCAD's circuit simulation tool to work properly, and I def need that for the Horologium Keplerus because I've got a circuit that actually needs faster iteration and testing than I can do on breadboard.

Today was a manic ADHD day. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Things that I got done:
1. Laundry
2. Latex laundry (that I'd been putting off for *months*)
3. Finally getting wheels turning on getting my paws on the last W-2 I need to file my 2024 income taxes (yes, I know, but I have until OCTOBER to get this done according to info I found on the IRS's own website)
4. Getting some near-future plans laid out

Bonus points if I can figure out a way to get it to spit out measurements that can be used to quickly CAD keeb components for 3D printing and laser cutting as well.

The user would have to do that hard work manually, I think, but having a tool to quickly finagle a physical arrangement of keys would I think be hella useful.

...... I suddenly want to be a little bit mad and attempt to code a "drag and drop" keyboard layout designer.

No, not the kind of keyboard layout you're thinking of.

The actual keys themselves, where they might all be, as well as the symbols and/or functions they can perform.

Want to start with a full-size keeb and throw the 10-key to the left side of the board? Drag and drop.

Want it to also be AZERTY? Sure, go for it.

That kind of tool.

Just for funsies. 😁

Sorry to keep posting about this, but movement has kinda stagnated and I'm still way behind on bills like rent and groceries. It's gonna be a problem really soon if I can't figure things out. If you can help, I could really use it. If you want to contribute with another service, DM me. Thank you πŸ’™

Genuinely sorry about the horrible trolls and miserable fucks in the open source + Linux communities that make it terrible.

It can be better. It
should be better.
