There's an interesting #backstory here: This song was used as an Advertising Jingle in Nova Scotia when I was a kid. Real Estate I believe, cats walked around checking out model (dollhouse) homes as this song played in the background.
I never knew its name, or artist; no way to search but I never stopped trying. I just found it in the last 5 years.

@RadiDaddy That was far later. I liked that too. I was back in Canada in 73 and joined the Navy., which took me right back to Europe and I took vacation time and went back to visit where I lived. LOL good morning, how was your Heardle? Mind sucked. I had real memory issues.

@mattdagley I know. I have tons of those timeless anomalies. But also, timing is everything. It won't work at 8pm but at 11pm, the floor is full. By closing time, they want to sing Rattlin' Bog and Barretts Privateers.

I've heard KKKKaty before - I remember my daughter having it sung to by her Great Grandma.

Similar era is "When Father Papered the Ceiling" - another music hall number, sung here by Billy Williams in 1912.

The first record my grandad heard was this record. His Great Grandad bought a record player, and this was one of the few records he had.

@NovaNaturalist My father collected rare stuff, that he recorded in 1960s on Reel To Reel tapes. I still have two of the machines, 1000s of hours of stuff like this, some I've never been able to locate.. But, I'll tack those weird ones in the thread later. LOL I can build on this for days.. it's cold, it's not like I'm going outside
