@sozou So is language creating science or art? And may I ask what happens when after a new language is created?
@MissScott01 Why not both? There is a category of conlangs that are made solely for fun.
Conlangs like Esperanto are supposed to make communication easier. Conlangs like Klingon are made for the purpose of storytelling/art (eg. a fictional species/culture).
It all depends on you. You can make a language for fun or to try teach it to others! Or just leave it as it is.

i bought a clothing repair loom (like a speedweve) because my last surviving pair of an older version of safe jeans developed a hole and i found it unbearable, in a month where a pair of safe shoes died, to lose them. so, now i have a new hobby and i've been fixing clothes for my family for fun now. makes me feel like a useful engine. #actuallyautistic #refractive @refractive

Couple interests keeping me going, practicing Japanese (sloooowly) and getting hyped about a book idea I had.
I actually spent some time this morning writing during a pain flare. Took some spoons but it felt so good to get the ideas going. It'll be nice to have the distraction of a new writing project over the holidays.

Not much sadly, still too unwell to really do anything π Would love to do some work on my websites (your updates on your neocities site inspired me π ), but alas, no brain power right now.
