Kotobukiya HMM Gun Sniper W2
This is my first kotobukiya and first hmm kit and it kind of rules. Despite the small size, itβs extremely detailed and itβs articulation rivals a master grade bandai kit. Low points: smaller parts are very weak, and joint tolerances are VERY tightβif youβre painting, take the time to mask them off beforehand, or just sand the paint down before assembling.
MG Sinanju. Tried doing a reverse wash on the sleeves parts for the first time and Iβm reasonable satisfied with how it came out, even if it isnβt what I pictured in my head.

HG G Witch Gundam Aerial
i love everything about this kit except that the shoulder construction tends to make the permet panels on the chest pop off when you move the arms
but otherwise? incredible. i love how bandai have incorporated 30 minute missions techniques into their mainline products and i love this model specifically. proportions, new mold painting and sticker printing techniques, all of it. wish it came with a multi stand for all the bit staves, but oh well. really dig it overall.
kit is not painted, but is panel lined, top coated, and accent markered.

this model was extremely challenging. due to the number of different colors and the level of very small details, it took me a long time to finish this, and there are many things i'm not satisfied with. but! finished is more important than perfect, and it's finished. i would estimate 95-98% airbrush coverage on this, with some accents provided by paint markers (to varying degrees of success).
if i were to re-do it, i would commit entirely to masking and remasking as necessary and simply build out an airbrushing schedule that would account for each part potentially requiring more than one color.
