had a ton of fun planning, building, and painting this kit. definitely the most intensive customization i’ve done so far, but i’m very happy with it. as always the master grade hands are incredibly well-engineered and equally finicky. i lost a pinky before i had even finished painting the frame. additionally, the head/backpack assembly is…a little loose at times, and the shield mount point on the backpack arm might as well not be there. but the looks are undeniably good.

OldManToastI'm about 13 episodes into Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta, and finished off the original 1979 series (42 episodes) and the Origin series. It's great watching the characters aging and the constant plot confusion that entails with any great anime.

Overall, the build on this was pretty straightforward. The knees are a little sketchy without screws, but that should fix itself when final assembly happens. Gnarly seam lines on the shoulder and thigh armor, though...nothing a little Tamyia Extra Thin can't fix.
