Z kraftového papíru k #travelersnotebook nejsem tedy nijak nadšený. Vypadalo to, že konečně papír, na který se dá použít bílá pastelka #fabercastell, ale je moc hrubý a nejde pořádně pastelkami vybarvit jako hladký papír. Zůstávají na něm nevybarvené "fleky" a díky tomu, že se pastelky tolik nezapíšou do papíru jdou snadno vygumovat. Pro mé pastelky je tedy kraftový papír nevhodný. :(

Na druhou stranu, prý je vhodný pro kaligrafii, akvarelové barvy, fixy, plnící nebo gelové pero atd. #AirBrush od #marvyuchida na něm také pěkně drží. Jenže těch mám jen pár, zatím zůstanu u pastelek a normálního papíru.

I printed and painted a Grinch half mask for @thegcat. It was a fun little side project. First I had to modify the full face mask with Meshmixer to cut free the mouth area as it is intended for singing in a concert. After a little bit of sanding and filler-primer I followed with a ochre underpainting, lime green base and darker green inks for shading. Like the result in the end. Basecoating the Hummel in sandy yellow, blasting more from above and high angles to keep some shadows. Also, I was again not aiming for a flat coat but to keep a bit of the shadows given by the black primer. If it looks off tomorrow, I may touch it up, otherwise I'll start on brown/green for the camouflage.

Tracks, being bare steel, got painted dark grey. I'll do the ground-clean steel later, and after that the diluted dirts. Or that's the plan, anyway 😋
