thank you to everyone who boosted and/or donated. i was able to get out to BeLoved Asheville and donate a few gallons each of water and gas, some bread, and other miscellanies, and then i spent a few hours working in their warehouse with some friends packing food boxes and reorganizing.

we're planning to head back up again next month and see what else we can help out with, and i'll probably make another post at that time.

had a ton of fun planning, building, and painting this kit. definitely the most intensive customization i’ve done so far, but i’m very happy with it. as always the master grade hands are incredibly well-engineered and equally finicky. i lost a pinky before i had even finished painting the frame. additionally, the head/backpack assembly is…a little loose at times, and the shield mount point on the backpack arm might as well not be there. but the looks are undeniably good.
