LenniWith the goblins done and the Xmas gnomes in prepping I fell for the new red Gobbo tin boy model. Already deep in to bashing it for the gnomes as another big guy star proxy. Think this will end up a good stand in for deeproot or something similar.
So far I removed a bit of the 40k ish insignia and replaced his bomb with a ball and turned the bots head for a proper nutcracker look. Also carved away the rifle. Waiting for some Nobility feathers for his head and a few gnome faces to replace the Red Gobbo.
Had to do a quick cast of one of the feet. Why do they have to incorporate them in to the bases?! Infuriating.

The airbrush survived the fall! 
Luckily I bought a set of spare needles when I got the airbrush and the rest really is pretty sturdy for a 30ish Euro airbrush.
I think I overdid it with bits and wires and will probably have a few choice words for myself once I start painting. I also need to start hunting for a pilot mini, preferably a frog. For reasons.
Do I have dozens of primed minis waiting to be painted? Yes.
Do I have shelves of untouched boxes sitting sadly in the cupboard? Also yes.
So the only logical thing to do is to not touch any of that and spend the last few weeks kitbashing this little dude from some cheapo ripoff gunpla kits.
It looks like a mess atm, but the primer should tie it all together. The dome will stay transparent and I still need to find an appropriate pilot.
