First day in the garden, well, greenhouse, this year. I am utterly knackered. Past Me did not clean anything at the end of last year and then there was cold and snow and illness. But Present Me did a damn fine job cleaning capillary boxes and washing the floor. I finally planted all the alliums, even the moldy ones to see what happens. I listened to no music or podcasts or anything. I feel I got a thorough soul cleansing, though! It felt so good to putz around the greenhouse, and those rubberised garden gloves are superior to soggy garden gloves! I feel happy. 😊 what a privilege and joy that I can garden! 💚
Yesterday I picked up strawberry plants from a local strawberry farm so that is a project for the coming week. So happy my local gardening shop gardener said I am not a month behind like I thought because it has not really been a persistent warm temp for plants to stay alive.

Every year, I wish I had taken pictures at the start of the growing season. I might even pin this so I can have all my gardening stuff together. Who have I become😂 This is year 3 after starting from a blank slate with new fence with different dimensions, grading of the property to accommodate new hardscaping and "wall-to-wall" sod.
