Starting the seeds for the season now. I’ve finally leant my lesson, not to start early. This is New England, despite global warming, we still have chilly days until June, like today it’s 10℃ and drizzling all day.

@richrollgardener @gardening we are #zone7a and I haven’t planted out but kept them in a cart outside for days… which I mean to say I agree it’s hard to risk. 2 years ago we got that May frost
Big windy day in the veg. garden: Finished mulching the paths, Transplanted out various brassicas, dill, chard, sweet peas. Seeded salad turnips, radishes, spinach outside and melons, squash and cukes inside, and moved up the peppers and tomatoes to bigger pots.

@Halcyonline

....last years?

@kevinrns yup. We grow Bulgarian carrot peppers which ripen in September in our neck of the woods and purée them with garlic, carrots, pineapple, and cider vinegar then freeze jars of it for tasty eating all year!
