A reminder for anyone else living in a temperate climate in the southern hemisphere, autumn is harvest season. When there's more fresh produce available, usually at cheaper prices, than at any other time of year.
Now is the time to eat as much fresh food as you possibly can, preparing your body to get through the winter to come. Without paying the out-of-season tax to each it in the same quantities in a few months time, when your body starts craving it.
Made three pints of bittersweet pink grapefruit marmalade.
