Well, it is the first of February so here is my first 'garden plants' post of the year.
These hardy cyclamen have been flowering all winter, undaunted by snow, rain and frost. The pale flowered ones on the right are cyclamen coum and the darker pink ones are cyclamen hederifolium. The small, winter
-flowering evergreen shrub on the left is a sarcococca hookeriana.

#Winter is the time of year that sometimes is very drab, but there is definitely #beauty in winter, you just have to look. Winter comes alive with the #plants and #grasses still visible in the #snow. The #wild grasses and #weeds that are not so lovely in the fall become stunning in their #simplicity in the winter white of the fresh fallen snow.
