What "Action cams" are hikers/bushcrafters using to record experiences for the memories? Is it "GoPro" by default or are there cheaper not-over hyped alternatives?

Currently I use #FOSS #UBPorts #UbuntuTouch -based phone (#VollaPhoneX), and camera app there is pretty bad - no HDRI, no stabilization...

If camera needs some Windows software to edit custom formats that's no-go for me, as I'm exclusively #Linux user...

Since upgrading my Volla Phone X to Ubuntu Touch Focal OTA-3, Mastodon embedded videos no longer play. Well, they do produce sound once buffered, but no frames are visible.

If anyone have same issue, please share your experience in this bug report:

@volla Would be great. I had the #VollaPhoneX, now I'm very pleased with my #VollaPhone22. I'm curious as to see how the Volla Tablet would look and feel.
