What were the biggest #crowdfund flops you’ve ever backed? I backed these duds:

iControlPad 2 – The open source controller – $87 down the drain. Despite the promises, it doesn’t look like any of the backers received a refund.

Paradise Lost: First Contact (a game) – the campaign launched in 2013, and the game was supposed to be released in December 2014. Until 2022, all we got were animated updates showing how the work was progressing.

Three years ago, I pledged support for a project on #IndieGoGo. Two days ago, and over two years late, the product finally arrived. For those of you that have done any #crowdfunding before, you know that this is nothing new.

But it's here now. I've tried all the bits and it all seems to work. A few minor complaints, but nothing worth getting upset about.
