The mom pushing the baby carriage, and the grandmother with her I presume, were happily surprised that I clearly stepped in the puddle of water so they could pass me.

#virtuesignalling my goodness.

Although, it's less a feat when you factor in that:

1. My boots are waterproof and winter ready.
2. I avoid picturing my own mother slapping me across the head and telling me she raised me better than that.

Doing myself the favour, really.
