According to Statistics Estonia, the gender pay gap decreased in 2025 by 1 percentage point.
It's good to see the progress, but there is still a lot of work to do to ensure that people, regardless of their gender, can have the same pay for same work.

This means that the gender pay gap in Estonia was the narrowest ever,â said Krista Vaikmets, leading analyst at Statistics Estonia.
