My kids all went back to school today. One of their classes is 14 students, across two grades. The other is 10 students (also two grades in that one). This is the #Ottawa Carleton Public School Board (OCDSB).
How you ask? Virtual campus!
Yes, even after all these years, the OCDSB is still offering a virtual campus and it has an amazing student to teacher ratio. I know it's late for folks to make the switch, but if your kid is one of those that would benefit from a better ratio and more time with the teacher, I highly recommend checking it out.
(Just not too many of you, please, because that kinda breaks the ratio 🤣)
Clear data that show #covid hurts kids in serious ways.
What's it going to take?
Is their anything more important?

Physical health and mental health should never be pinned against each other.
We can't enable schools in their inaction by placating.
