#ValiantComics characters don't work with over a decade's worth of history weighing on their shoulders. The selling point for me was always the tight continuity. What happened in Valiant happened. But 120 issues of wild comic events is a lot of stuff to add to one's CV.
So I guess Valiant will do a zombie thing for a bit and I will be cautiously optimistic about the slick Valiant Beyond reboot. *hoping IDW will get the books actually published.*

I've been reading the #MarvelComics event X-Manhunt and the most recent similar crossover I've read was the #ValiantComics 'verse-finale Resurgence. It strikes me that I'm actually quite glad Valiant is getting a reboot.
Marvel's 50+ years of continuity is some how a feature rather than a bug. I don't know who half of these characters are or what events they are referring to. 40 years ago Kitty Pryde was about 15 and now she's about 30, natch.
