I feel like DS9 is the series where the crew lost the ship the most. The Defiant got badly damaged a bunch of times, and of course was outright destroyed once.

It's interesting - that flaw the Valiant crew found sounds an aweful lot like the flaw Tuvok found in the enemy ship blocking them from rescuing Tom and Neelix from the planet in #Lifesigns.
