#i3wm may very well be my ideal "desktop environment".

Except for the fact that it has NO mechanism for zooming/magnifying the screen, so while I can zoom the fonts just fine for web or terminal, anything like a configuration dialog is UTTERLY unreadably tiny.

There's the #magnus screen magnifier, but that only seems to work on a limited set of applications (I suspect certain kinds of XResources are unreadable by it?).

So I may need to start audioning new desktop environments.

Still viewing all of this from the standpoint of exploration, learning and fun so no worries in any case.

Hunters International baisse le rideau

C’est désormais officiel, le ransomware Hunters International rend les clefs. Plus aucune victime n'est affichée sur son site de fuite. Un paragraphe indique que chaque entité se voit offrir une clé de déchiffrage. La raison invoquée serait la surveillance accrue et le manque de rentabilité.

Par pure coïncidence, un autre est apparu en début d'année : « Silent ». D'abord nommé « Word Leaks », il migre vers Silent. Des victimes sont déjà affichées : « Wisconsin Judicare », « Cocoon », « Versa Networks », « ATSi », « Fleet Canada » et « ESP Associates ». Son but est affiché en noir et blanc : voler les données et extorquer de l'argent.
