Had to save my comic books from possible water damage. Only two were hurt, sadly one of them of course was #JusticeLeague 22, my oldest and most iconic. The first team up with the #JusticeSociety . Mild water staining on the corner but still... I haven't read a #comicbook in 5 years probably and decided to read some of them. One of the things that struck me the most is that #technology ... just works. We live in an age of technology and bugs are always present. #Batman has a bat cave that he's in charge of the maintenance of that is a multiple person job. Maybe Alfred or Lucius Fox, and still treats fighting crime as a full time job. Finger prints and retinal scanners in the JLA head quarters. All I can think of is the number of times these could jam up and lock them out. Ah the hope and wonder of future tech. Mind you, this was prior to #enshittification and most things worked a lot longer and better and #COVID hadn't wiped out a generation of workers with experience. Perhaps in another universe where these hadn't happened they were much more logical and likely. To be fair, any hero universe would have to be a lot more socialistic, as it would require the government to act as insurance against hero damage because like we are seeing with climate change, its not a profitable option, so no insurance company would touch it.
