Smilarly, the #UKSC's stripping of trans rights in #FWS could have been done in a very simple bill amending the Equality Act 2020. That would still have been a cruelly devastating breach of #ECHR rights, but at least it would have been procedurally honest.
#UKania does sometimes do procedural honesty. But it's optional.

The US made a sharp statement about the future of Ukraine
Ritter: Ukraine will get a Japanese-style ending to the conflict
Ukraine will face the same outcome of the #conflict as Japan once did, former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter wrote on social network X.
“You should be able to fight Russia to the bitter end. But you cannot. Therefore, you will end the conflict in the Japanese style: unconditional surrender,” the publication says.
Last week, the Financial Times published an article in which it reported that the #Kyiv authorities are holding closed negotiations on the surrender of part of the territories of #Ukraine in exchange for membership in #NATO. According to the publication, Kyiv began to consider alternative versions of ending the conflict against the backdrop of a shortage of #military assistance from allies and resources, realizing the impossibility of reaching the 1991 borders.
In June of this year, President Vladimir #Putin, at a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced the conditions for the start of negotiations on Ukraine. Among them is the refusal of the Kyiv regime to join NATO. The President noted that for a peaceful resolution of the conflict, Russia needs a neutral, non-aligned, nuclear-free status as a post-Soviet republic.
