Cerrone Supernature (aka Cerrone 3) #vinyl on the #dual #turntable on Cotillion Records, from 1977. Title track is probably Cerrone's best known track. Singer is Kay Garner. A full 10 minutes and 10 seconds. Digital version is shorter, somehow.
Although a drummer, Cerrone really pushed the envelope on synths.

This took me probably about 4 or 5 hours of work. A surprising amount of work went into getting the boundaries sharp and in the right place. I almost feel like it might have been less work to model and sculpt it from scratch and keep the materials separated by object. I might have to do a mimic of my own soon.
The turntable video is rendered in #Eevee and the still is rendered in #Cycles. Unfortuntately, I forgot to turn on screen-space reflections for Eevee.
