Flatlands - Day 8: Hoek van Holland -> Renesse (61 km)

We started already sick but with tailwind. Our #ferry across the #Meuse almost collided with one of those fantastic new #cargo #sailing #ships .Later, some non-human #pedestrians blocked the bike path. Then, it was a long battle against a fierce headwind! Now two days off to cure our colds.

For #SchiffSamstag here's Stena Vision departing Cherbourg last year for Rosslare, Ireland. This cruise ferry entered service as Stena Germanica in 1987 but was renamed in 2010. She can accommodate 1700 passengers and 360 cars.
