I am a #neurologist and #vision scientist at the University of Pennsylvania. I’ve been working with #fMRI for many years, often combined with retinal imaging and other measures. I have a particular focus on clinical populations, and am currently trying to understand the painful interaction of light and #trigeminal touch in people with #migraine.

I am also active in career development for physician-scientists.

Other things that my #disabilities have turned into obsessive focus, I have #Celiac & was dxed in 2002. Because of my neurospicy brain, I have found cooking & nutrition to be a creative outlet for me. You may see cooking and/or review posts here from time to time. I have #fibromyalgia & #Trigeminal-Neuralgia in the US Healthcare system, so I have been mostly left on my own to manage my pain. I may post about things I've tried or work for me.
