🤯 Anyone else here unfortunate enough to suffer from migraine attacks? What are your coping tips and tricks?

Today's chaotic weather in Manchester has knocked me out for the day, a particularly violent one! My biggest migraine trigger is this kind of weather/pressue system.

In today's update, I just got out of the hospital after going to the ED with stroke symptoms; the left side of my body was weak, had no strength, was exhausted/fatigued, and horrible left sided pain on my entire body.....turns out its not a stroke fully. What it is, is my migraines have evolved into what they call complex migraines...which can mimic the symptoms of a stroke. The weakness they said should go away in a few days, very rarely do the symptoms become permanent. I also have an appointment with neurology on Friday so I can talk and learn about how Im supposed to live and deal with these new more intense migraines...if anyone has any info about #ComplexMigraine please feel free to share with me. I gotta learn up on it all

Strong sugar cravings are more understandable from a tastebud perspective, but why is it that migraines make me crave salt so much I fantasize about eating entire spoonfuls of it?

(For the record, I have never and would never actually eat salt by the spoonful. It simply sounds delicious in that moment).

The human body is odd sometimes.

We need more studies about this.
