so i wanted to post about #confidence and lack there especially in the face of a hobby that has become geared towards beauty and youth, i find especially since the rise of #tiktok and #instagram that #cosplay has become a bit of a beauty contest and how fast you can get your next #cosplay out or even how many you can do at an event, im even finding my enthusiasm dying as it's really hard to get to a standard of bought cosplays and the fact that people seem to overlook the #craftmanship of cosplays if you are not young/pretty/slim, i just needed to rant my experiences as an older, plus size #cosplayer
